Personal Training
One-on-one personal training sessions are tailored to your personal goals and physical needs through both static and dynamic assessments. A program is then created to reach your health and fitness goals. This can include, but is not limited to:
help overcome muscle imbalances,
improve posture,
increase strength, flexibility or mobility,
address aches and pains, etc.
A free 30-minute consultation is available to discuss goals, ask questions and get a feel for these training sessions.
Sessions are 50 minutes in length.
At-home sessions available.
Small Group Training
Small group training involves 2-4 people and is a great way to work out, challenge yourselves and others, and learn something new, all while having fun with your friends! Whether the focus is movement, strength, weight loss or kickboxing, these small group training sessions add a level of interaction and energy to your training. Motivation and support are also key components of small group training as everyone works together to hit the next level in their fitness journey.
Sessions are 50 minutes in length.

Online Coaching
Personalized programming is available for those looking to explore fitness at their own pace. Personalized programming is custom made with your goals, strengths and challenges in mind. Upon discussing your personal needs and completing the appropriate assessment(s) via video call, a program is created for you to execute out of the comfort of your home, or through your gym. The program includes all components of a well-rounded routine, and includes videos, photos and explanations of each exercise to support you in your journey. A certified personal trainer is available for support when needed.
All personalized programs are based off of a four-week routine, and will be re-evaluated for adaptations, modifications and/or improvements (based on progress) in subsequent months.
Kickboxing
At Unlocked Fitness we believe that learning new things and learning how to do them well are very important. Insert kickboxing, a great way to push your cardio, do something different, develop confidence, strength (both, mentally and physically!) and self-defence skills/ knowledge. It doesn’t matter if you’re kickboxing by yourself or have chosen to kickbox with a couple friends, it’s a fantastic, fun workout!
Group or individual kickboxing focused sessions as well as hybrid kickboxing/ strength training sessions are available.
Sessions are 50 minutes in length.
All About Them Kids
Unlocked Fitness takes pride and care in working with children; being able to train the next generation is an absolute privilege and honor. At Unlocked Fitness, we take care in getting to know each child as the individual they are. This includes their interests, likes, dislikes, strengths and limitations. This also includes setting realistic yet attainable goals, and making sure each child is having a blast, all while feeling safe and comfortable.
Individual and partner sessions are available focusing on a variety of skills – kickboxing, general fitness and/or exploring age-appropriate components of strength training and exercise.
Sessions are 50 minutes in length.

Rehabilitation
Unlocked Fitness offers support with rehabilitation with a focus on stability, balance, flexibility, mobility and strength. The goal of rehabilitation is to get moving as quickly as possible, and in a safe way. Helping understand how the body works is essential in this process as often imbalances play a role in the initial injury. At Unlocked Fitness, we educate on the “why” and the “how” as understanding these two major elements are important.
*Please note diagnoses need to be identified by a healthcare professional (ie. physiotherapist, doctor, etc.).

Shain Brooks has been in the fitness field for over a decade. He has loved every minute of the last twelve years as a kickboxing instructor, and five and a half years as a NASM certified personal trainer. He believes that being able to be a part of one’s fitness journey and story is a privilege. Whether educating clients on a new journey in health and fitness, supplementing one’s recovery and subsequent training or introducing children or adults alike to kickboxing, Shain is here to help and meet the individual needs of each client. Shain continues to learn and grow in his field. His experience includes a background in both small, independent gyms and management of big-box fitness centres. Currently Shain is focused on building Unlocked Fitness as a business owner and independent trainer.
Meet the team
Shain’s kind, patient approach makes everyone around him comfortable and ready to build their confidence, strength and knowledge of fitness. Shain’s approach addresses the foundation of a client’s movement, balance and flexibility before diving deeper into more complex exercises to build on the foundation; fitness and health is a marathon, not a sprint. Shain’s love of Star Wars also makes a regular appearance in his training.
